Judgment

The Accused

At six feet, six inches, he was an arresting figure. His deep voice was laced with a hint of an Alabaman accent, and dressed all in black, he had an animal magnetism that women found irresistible. An austere man with a rigidly puritanical outlook, he had no academic qualifications, but he was the only able-bodied man on the farm. He adored his mother.
